Youth Placements

Comic Relief in conjunction with Leeds Community Foundation donated £1000 to fund the placement of eleven  young people  and 4 mentors. This money pays their expenses and allows them to attend 3 days each week for 7 weeks over the summer holidays.

Amongst this group are several 16 -18  year olds who have various career aspirations.

Jessica Britton  - Midwive

Alex Parrot - Doctor

Adele Horner - Caring Profession

Sophie Wariner - Caring Profession

Daniel Wariner - Undertaker

Tom Gallagher

Each student is required to produce a portfolio detailing their daily tasks and special projects.

For example Jessica and Alex are undertaking a risk assement on the various areas of the garden. It is hoped that the skills learned here will be beneficial in their chosen professions
